Alien / Prometheus
reveries after James Bond movie "Spectre"

Still collating this utter exercise in utter pointlessness,
nothing should make sense for more than half a second

a) Forward
After watching the James Bond movie Spectre, I started to think about the Blofeld character who seemed to be responsible behind everything that had happened to James Bond throughout his life.

I am only barely seeing any of this through a very long dark cloud being blown in my direction from the film and maybe there is nothing within it.

I have to say that the concept is almost but not quite a reiteration of the idea I was having about an observing presence in relation to the film Ringu (See Dreaming about Alien meets Ringu - Aliengu), it might also tie in with thoughts I have that are related to Eraserhead in relation to Aliens.

So I continue to have this strange idea about a conspiracy in the world of Alien, and there is a hideous intelligent being from another star system far far away who is pulling the strings behind all the plot holes around the film series, for many millennias making plans that would surely bring destruction upon the human race, this being has always been changing the human race's past, present and future leaving those who know too much feeling a sense of timelessness to every event:

b) Rough Notes for the The Faux Alien/Spectre Story
The Blofeld alien consciousness has been there right from the beginning spinning its web across the galaxy, something relative to the great Cthulhu and so from now on might as well be labeled as Blowfluthu here who was imprisoned a state of sleep influencing all sort of beings and humans through time and space.

There are ancient petroglyphs discovered of the Blofluthu, sometimes referred to as Blowflute as if his name was a reference to the pipe that he appeared to be blowing and people would wonder what to make of this entity that has been depicted, copying out the form in their notebooks or taking shots with their digital camera

I might start thinking about perhaps a depiction of a Kokopelli petroglyph of ancient America but exaggerated in this instance, blowing his pipe or perhaps a multitude of them all at once fused to its face.

Perhaps it was something that projected itself from the future into the past and invaded everyone's existence that way.

In modern day reality, no one can take the idea of this Blofluthu seriously other than an unexplainable myth of another cultur

Ripley was just one human woven into its tapestry or its curse, and was happy to let things unfold over countless decades.

The thing knew the names and all about the lives of those individuals.

c) A man with an obsession
In this, the hero James Bond is referred to as "Our Man" which is a translation of the name of the ship in Alien called Nostromo.

For all I care, it might as well be "Our Man" as in "Our Man Flint" or "Our Man in Havana"

The lead character in this is supposed to be an archaeologist who is aware of all the information regarding events in Prometheus, Alien, Aliens and Alien 3, as if he has seen all the special information that no one is suppose to acknowledge.

Perhaps even he knows about the events of Alien Resurrection but it seems as if they only happened several years after Alien 3 because the idea that it should happen centuries later puts the whole thing out of context, and perhaps the passing of time doesn't really mean much to the people in this part of the future any more than it might in the world of The Forever War.

d) Killing an alien monster
Our Man finds himself pulled into the obsession of finding signs of a strange alien intelligence interacting with human civilisations through the distant past and he wants to trace it's origin throughout history, find out how and when it first interacted with mankind.

The alien creature has sent itself into his reality once again, perhaps as a shadow that has taken on form in someone else, and out comes one of our alien creatures.

He shoots dead an alien creature that was running through the streets.

People stand around the corpse of the thing mystified as if they were standing there seeing the result of a car accident, even if it would kill them to see it.

One dared to touch its metal teeth and feared that the inner set of jaws would come out and bite his hand off.

Some crouch down to touch the thing, stroking the ribbed patterns and pipes on the side of the head and the body to feel the texture or touch the smooth transparent canopy on the top, seeing through it more ribbed patterns, one woman in a hypnotised begins to rub her own cheek against it and then her lips before unbuttoning her blouse and rubbing her bare breast against it, while others observe her.

An African-American male bystander stood there concerned for her, he took off his jacket and put it around her shoulders telling her that she didn't need to do that, and holding her by the side of her arms, helped her onto her feet and embraced her as she wept.

A man decided to role around in the slimy fluid seeping out of the corpse that appeared to not immediately harmful to human skin.

Our Man considered that the affect of seeing this thing might have become detrimental enough on their psyche, and like them, he might have liked to have actually find out what this thing was that he had killed when it was alive.

The laboratories study the remains of the corpse and decide it was something biologically engineered by either the Russians, the Koreans or even a terrorist organisation.

Another point of view might be that this thing came over from another dimension and had an unstable cellular structure, and if it had remained in this dimension any longer, it would have quickly died anyway.

People feared this thing might have layed eggs somewhere like a cockroach might, and there would be new ones growing soon, but was there anything to the idea that this thing has a life cycle or is it just a misunderstanding that there's a life cycle born out of paranoia,

In time this thing and all memory and evidence of it would vanish like a mirage but not the wreckage that it caused

Perhaps the cry to know more about this thing was the most painful of all since wasn't an actual point of this alien actually existing, but still there were those so certain that it had crossed over from a dream.

Photographers were gathering around to see the beast and Our Man knew it was time to leave and took an air taxi into the southern quarters of the city

e) Hunt for something different about an Alien
Our man starts to wonder about an alien it could be an alien with a special component or in built machine guns, tire slashers, revolving number plates, bullet proof shield and ejector seat, or an alien that quickly turns into a submarine.

Perhaps there is an alien that's three or four innocent looking gold plated components that fit together and become the ultimate beast, it is terrible to think about it, this might be the ultimate terror of the movie worrying about new ways to rehash everything.

Someone who has been forced to investigate the possibility is spitting these thoughts as sarcastic line of fire aimed at my expectations

Perhaps sadly all lines of inquiry lead to a centre point that tells us this is nothing more than a McGuffin and eventually these McGuffins are everywhere becomes the ultimate fear and anyone who looks too deeply will get egg on their face.

There are at least a dozen derelict ships around the galaxy that need to be discovered by the human race.

The Blofluthlu had sent them there with the intention that they would be discovered many millenias later by the human civilisation.

They are time capsules containing items that would change the direction of the human civilisation.

The humans would enter these places that have been waiting for what seems like an eternity and believe that they are discovering something about a very ancient civilisation that has been exterminated what seems like a million years ago.

Someone amongst the explorers would become infected by one of the artifacts and becomes bearer of an alien being inside him

f) Suicidal cult
"Our Man" reaches building complex where they are devoted to this strange entity, it might even be considered its home, it's a temple where the central object of cult obsession is an asteroid discovered in the depths of space that dominates the chamber almost leaving very little room for any large group to enter the place.

One version of the story is that it contained remains of a strange biomechanical organism left behind by an ancient civilisation.

Perhaps it was another thing that was planned all along by this strange ancient being and was a time capsule.

They cultivated its cells which grew into something and infected members of the cult who were giving their lives up for this thing, and from their bodies erupted these strange monstrous things and from their injuries they died.

The other story was that this thing acted as a portal for a hideous entity to come through and infect all the people around it with its touch or it would orally rape them all.

They would quickly die as if infected something.

He finds a woman who has been infected by this life form with a creature growing inside her as part of this cult, and she knows that only has a few hours left.

He tries to lead her out of this strange mental labyrinth offering to have the creature removed from her, she waits hoping for the people to come to carry out the surgery but fears what this creature within would do.

It gets to point where this strange Blofluthu entity shows its face to Our Man perhaps through a portal or vortex and it looks back at him as if it recognises him.

The revelation is that all it's interactions through history are just a way for this to leave its mark.

When Our Man saw its face, he thought that it represented something like an ancient hieroglyph filled with ancient meaning and he was so sure that he saw it transforming into another hieroglyph, and he wanted to record these strange impressions in the form of a notebook and he had to see this thing again face to face.

g) A man with a career blackened
He meets a man who has found out that all his discoveries pointing to this strange intelligent entity had turned out to be false and that the solidity of reality has started to fall to pieces, various day to day facts and most important events in history seemed to change and no one else was taking any notice, mysterious without realising it his reputation had become blackened over night as if blanketed over by something that didn't make sense, he has also gone into hiding trying to keep a vantage point of this forever fact changing reality.

However the ancient Blofluthu being has done something to infect him, he realises that there is something inside that is slowly growing like an inoperable cancer and he can feel it moving, he fears that his daughter will be next and tells Our Man must help her before the Blofluthu catches up with her, and in front of our man he says his last words and commits suicide shooting himself in the head.

h) Looking for a woman
From this man with a blackened reputation, Our Man realises that he has to find a certain woman who is working on a space station or a structure of some kind appears to be nothing much to do.

The place where she is seems to be a complicated shadow, perhaps it's the remains of a derlict ship that's been transformed into a building being used. Perhaps she is there trying to be ignored by Blofthulhu, but he finds out where she is there summons her and has her extracted from the place and taken into a vehicle that will drive her away.

As they are driving along the narrow roads, they are attacked by a strange flying creature, perhaps it's a misunderstood aircraft that was somehow alive. Perhaps one passenger perceives it as a portent for disaster. After they try to shoot it out of the air, it slides down a hill crashes into a barn and begins to shed its skin as it wings are removed to be transformed into a land creature.

The woman has important information that seems to lead to the discovery of a secret room halfway across the frontiers of human exploration, where there might be a star chart on a wall or in a drawer showing where the Blofluthu's secret star base or whatever is to be found. It turns out to be a set of co-ordinates written on a piece of paper and nothing more.

Where and what this is all about, perhaps to be replaced by a much more complicated idea would be worked out by someone else or trimmed out of the final story because they just needed to get the characters to their destination, perhaps by long distant voyage on a space ship.

There is no end to the uncertainty that's prevalent but they realise that they just have to push on.

i) Convergence
They reach the lair of Blofluthu in an impact crater and he tells them about his plan from aeons ago extract the DNA of the ultimate dark force in the universe and inject it into the human race so that this dark force might slowly arise and shed its human skin under his command. He has been plotting havoc for millions of years.

(This might be a little bit like Quatermass And The Pit where the ancient Martians had biologically re-engineered the human civilisations five million years earlier and could unleash powers in thos with DNA from this new human species with the aid of the sound being sent out from one of its space crafts, but this time it's unleashing a monster from these people's bodies )

The Blofluthu slowly reveals its existence to "Our Man", who thinks that while he is looking at it, is really witnessing something else completely

The being had been behind all the conspiracies in the Alien legacy and Prometheus, and all the contradictions that the AvP franchise might offer as well.

He presents before Our Man, a representation of himself that has a history spanning backwards in time for millenias, but sheds his skin to reveal himself to be something else another alien species completely different that has a history going back millenias in a completely different direction.

j) Blofluthu's affect on Alien
For Alien, it was the one who placed the egg silo upon the planetoid and organise the landing of a derelict ship there which would merge with the egg silo to confuse everyone, and allow the space jockey there to become a victim of the chest burster, making it look as if the pilot had been killed by its ships own cargo.

It was the one who had the silo filled with thousands of spores just so that perhaps only a handful needed to get where they needed to.

Perhaps the body that was the space jockey was its own long dead corpse.

And there was this strange alien creature that with the help of an android would unleash itself through a strange life cycle and become perceived as the ultimate killing machine

k) Blofluthu's affect on Aliens 2
For Aliens, it also must have been the one who had someone turn the derelict transmitter off once Kane was facehuggered.

It could changed the scenario around instantly so that the alien queen was perhaps always the chestburster that erupted from the space jockey and would grow to a comparable size, kept in stasis for thousands of years, until this thing with its huge size became a normal part of the creature's life cycle.

l) Blofluthu's affect on Alien 3
For Alien 3, it must have been the one who planted a spore aboard the Sulaco and intervening when its plan had failed, implanted Ripley with the queen chest burster.

Bishop 2 was another person caught in its plans, believing himself to be in hunt for a live Alien Queen that was fruitless

Blofluthu had interfered with his life and sent him along to bring Ripley back just so that everyone might get confused about whether he was a robot or an android, and then suddenly decided that instead of the queen being something that was a later stage of the alien's growth, it could also be born as a queen.

m) Blofluthu's affect on Alien Resurrection
For Alien Resurrection, it must have been the one who supplied blood samples just so that Ripley 8 clone be born hundreds of years later pregnant with an alien queen. At the end, there was no sense to any of this, other than for prodding the human race and seeing how it responded.

Damien Hirst's 1000 Years
n) "A million years" installation in space.
For Prometheus, it was the one who created the ampule room as an installation that might even be named "The temple of a million years" after the Egyptian temple of Ra.

It was made as something mirroring Damien Hirst's "1000 years" installation that would pop up in its distant future. The latter was a display of a sort of a life cycle in a box,  composed of a vitrine with a glass division. In one half is the severed head of a cow on the floor; in the other is an insect electrocutor.

Maggots introduced into the vitrine feed off the cow and then develop into flies that are killed by the electrocutor.

It was also a sort of homage to Francis Bacon who very much appreciated it and felt as if he were actually passing the baton to another generation.

o) Ampule room
Here in the Ampule room, when the atmosphere becomes contaminated by the human's presence, the ceiling artwork begins to destroy itself and the ampules start to melt, worms crawling in the ground when they come into contact with the contents of the ampules begin to transform into serpents with cobra heads that opened up as if they were living hieroglyphs to be shaped roughly like the symbol of the winged scarab representing resurrection and immortality.

(In ancient Egyptian religion, the sun god Ra is seen to roll across the sky each day, transforming bodies and souls. Beetles of the Scarabaeidae family roll dung into a ball as food and as a brood chamber in which to lay eggs that are later transformed into larvae. For these reasons the scarab was seen as a symbol of this heavenly cycle and of the idea of rebirth or regeneration. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scarab artifact)

Scarab relief and the hammerpede

p) Barge of a million years
Despite the fact that this planet Zeta II Reticuli is many light years from planet Earth in an unknown star system, this ampule room transforms itself into a temple of the sun god in reference to the barge of a million years on which Ra and his companion gods sailed through the sky giving light and heat to the world and then through the dangerous journey of the night, sailing through the underworld known as the "duat".

However this place becomes a temple of an aggressive transformation and indeed death.

One of these so called barges of a million years would be discovered in a bay down the end of a long tunnel not far from the temple.

Barge of a Million Years

q) Schrodinger's Engineer
The entity had holographic orrery placed there as a lure that also spread the information that we lived in a holographic universe.

And activating it led to the discovery of a living extra-terrestrial humanoid known as an engineer. Its presence in one of the hibernation chambers was as a sort of Schrodinger's cat which in quantum theory is a cat imagined as being enclosed in a box with a radioactive source and a poison that will be released when the source (unpredictably) emits radiation, the cat being considered (according to quantum mechanics) to be simultaneously both dead and alive until the box is opened and the cat observed.

The engineer is amongst a group of people from another world that have been infected by the contaminant from the strange black substance, and so he is to be considered simultaneously both a victim of the infection and not at all until the hibernation sarcophagus has been discovered and the engineer inside found to be alive.

Perhaps the fact he was still alive meant he had a part to play in the story as a pawn of this strange ancient thing.

r) Million years symbolism transforms into a virus with recombinant genes
This strange silo appeared to bring those who entered it hoping for answers to become part of a transformation process, a strange display of living symbols become transformed by the human consciousness into a plan to infect the universe with a deadly transforming disease.

What does it really do?

The cluelessness about it all, the male human transforms into a predatory humanoid beast, and if he inseminates a woman, during his transformation, perhaps she gives birth to a tentacled creature that grows to be large that when it plants its seed in another humanoid and this was always where the Engineer was going to play its part, and from the latter's body erupts another strange semi-humanoid beast that seems be somehow has been prophesied in the mural, as if the black substance always had the DNA for this creature buried in it combining with the DNA of one creature then another and then another, perhaps like a recombinant virus, that might be considered a dark angel of sorts.

The relief.

s) And there goes another MacGuffin!
And then this was obviously all Blofluthu's secret plan, that it would be witnessed on a small scale and surely have to be reported as something important to the human race, along with all its secrets that would be unveiled to the man on one level or another.

Nothing could really be imagined, it would obviously never happen in anyway describable, and on the vast scale that everything had been planned, obviously it would never be imagined to happen.

Our Man still assumed for that moment that the thing wanted it all seen and reported, that he wanted the human race to feel how he was in control of it all and no matter how many times he died, killed by one means or another, he always had his hands on the controls somewhere in time.

Our Man had seen the mass killing unleashed on the members of the suicidal cult, he desperately wanted to tell the people of Earth everything that happened, but the Blofluthu informed him that it had done something to his brain and this event with all its unbearable truths and plans would all be forgotten.

The truth was that the DNA of the aliens has found its way into the human species DNA many hundreds of thousands of years ago.

It's a question of activating the DNA and the alien organism's life cycle begins, growing and shedding off its skin, without the aid of the life forms referred to as a spore or face hugger.

It didn't seem that way until the strangeness in the strands of DNA had come to the surface of discussion and now they had decided that it didn't need to combine with the DNA of any other hosts other than the life form who had it in his DNA.

He then began to witness all the memories of the reality of this crumble, and realising that he had to let go was an agony, but with him afterwards all those uncertain chaotic emotions remained.

t) The lair of Blofluthu

The woman thought that she was getting away from it with her memory removed, and she told him that she refused to stay with Our Man. He doesn't give up this obsessional search that continues to destroy his life.

Although he recalled that there was something there vitally important that he should remember, he
realised it would never be recalled but the emotions still agonised him.

He finds himself taken into a strange environment, where there appeared to be no up and no down, where one thing can not be told from another, but finding himself there, he is desperately trying to get away from it, he finds suddenly in there another artifact that looks as if it has been buried that is another revelation,  it might even be the remains of a near fossilised devilish ancient alien coming to life, but there is movement in the walls, what looked like a piece of machinery , perhaps a pipe or a control panel begins to come alive with teeth. there are myriad creatures moving around that before were once a part of the architecture.  and this artifact too wakes up to be another living thing,  it might even result in another mental battle as if a thousand soldiers are to be sent in to kill this thing and it would kill them all single handed, while it went on a rampage to destroy even more memories and relics of a forgotten past (this whole scene might just be a waste of time repeating the Ripley in the Alien hive scene all over again).

The place is however destroyed in an explosion, he is terrified about all the information that had been lost there, it can't be retrieved. It might have uncover the history of the cosmos and the many civilisations around or perhaps it might have been information suddenly generated to interest the human race and confuse it forever about what makes the universe up only to find it to be completely wrong, much later. History was now just a virus.

u) Ending the struggle
Blofluthu has escaped the explosion, or it's as if he has left his shell and something crawled out that would quickly grow again. But this thing is caught on the bridge. Our Man gets close to it, Perhaps it might even be something that shows off the true face of the Blofluthu with another face underneath that is even more real, he is emotionally paralysed by it can not put it aside and wants to put it aside, but the other side is that he knows it can't be real and asks his girlfriend to pull him away from the object, and so she does.

There were a myriad of strange ancient things across the galaxy and even more across the universe that were trying to get the interests of people of such places of Earth and use cunning methods to appear more important than they really were to the people of this planet and offering no other way out other than to become infected by it, go on missions to carry out its bidding to unleash its kind from eternal prisons across the cosmos and in doing so die.

Our Man had much more important things to do with his girlfriend, even if it was to share a plastic cup of water with her,  rather than be absorbed into that vortex of eternal non-existence.

He stepped out of the reach of its tendrils and walked off while other experts in protective gear came along and contained the thing.

v) Beginning the struggle all over again, and perhaps ending it sooner
They takes a star ship to another part of the galaxy to get on with life with her and it is only then aboard the ship that one of the crew using a scanner realises that she is an android and she is informed about the truth herself while she is sure she had evidence that she was a human, she wonders when it was that she was actually last a human and how she can go on existing knowing that all she is, is a machine, was it some sort of strange disease that turned her human body into a non organic machine or was this another illusion that would somehow change again in time, perhaps it was all just normal and it should be accepted as in many scifi movies
